The organization is a registered U.S. 501(c)(3) in good standing. We confirm their EIN with the IRS Tax Exempt Organization Search, verify an authorized signer, and pay funds directly to the nonprofit's bank account on file.
The organizer has completed identity verification (KYC) through our payments partner and confirmed a relationship to the beneficiary. It's the same standard a bank uses to open an account.
We've confirmed who the organizer or nonprofit is — not that we endorse the campaign or guarantee outcomes.
Every donation — verified or not — is protected by our Donor Guarantee and refund process.
